Alternatives to Google Voice with Windows Phone app?

Musixmatch plugin for poweramp download. I just got a new phone and found out that my favorite Google Voice application is no longer available in the Windows Store (MetroTalk). I was able to install FreeTalk, but since GVMax.com got shutdown it isn't able to provide notifications for SMS or missed calls. Does anyone know a Google Voice app that still works well on Windows Phone or an alternative to Google Voice that has an app that does SMS and notifications?

I know that there is Skype but Skype won't let me port an existing number into it and I don't want to have to get yet another number. Plus Skype is $8/mo (year in advance) when you have to pay for a phone number and pay for SMS/Call ability.
