  The Sho-Bro resonator guitar was a brief joint venture between Gretsch-Baldwin and steel master Shot Jackson. The collaboration only lasted from the late Sixties until early Seventies, so the Sho-Bro resonator is somewhat rare. This is a Model 6031 Hawaiian guitar - serial #8 2057 - made to be played lap style with a steel bar. Jumbo body: spruce top, maple back & sides, Barcus-Barry pickup. It shows some use (scratches, chipping along the fretboard) but it sounds great! Perhaps not as hard as your typical dobro ... but quite fine, thank you. Comes with original Gretsch hard shell case. Local Bay Area pickup preferred - it weighs a ton - but I will ship within continental USA.
